This past weekend, myself and a few buddies headed up to Mille Lacs in search of Walleyes. We fished from sun up to sun down for 2 straight days. The weather was good, pretty cold in the mornings but overall it was very manageable. We were able to locate fish in deeper water for basically the entire trip. All presentations were working, tip-ups, set lines, jigging, anything you could think of was catching fish at one point or another. Overall, between 5 guys, 80 or so walleyes were caught, and around 40 nice jumbo perch. A lot of real nice keeper size fish including some nicer ones. The biggest fish was caught by my buddy Weston Smith (see below) it was a nice 26 inch Walleye. A good trip none the less, the fish were active and it was a great time out on the lake!
This page I will updates after every fishing outing, So come to this page when you wanna see how the boys and myself did. This weekend of the 14-15 we will be heading up to Mille Lacs in search of big Walleyes. Stay Tuned!
